My Sweet Mother Dear

So where you going this Sunday afternoon?
Church is out and the race is on
Suns clock is late and everyone's running
Leave your things, they weigh you down
Follow your shadow it knows where to go
She's grounded and comes out of your soul

How do you do my sweet mother dear?
Are you happy with your past 'cause the future is near
Did you know that your scent takes away our fears?

We sing your name into the air and weep
Your hands are sewn together with perservering string

The sun wakes her every morning and speaks just like you
"Sweetie, it's just another day and you'll make it through"
