Flan de Coco Pt. 1

I have a supervisor's meeting tomorrow at work and they decided to have us each bring a different dessert. I figured since I'm the only Hispanic in the department, and of the supervisors, I should woo them with some hispanic dessert. I chose Flan de Coco.

It took me about 4 tries to get the caramel just right for the basing of the pan, but I finally got it and the flan is in the oven baking as I type. I got about 10 more minutes to go and it should be done.

Here is the recipe in case anyone is interested or curious:

Ingredients:
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can coconut cream
1 can of condensed milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of sugar (for caramel)
1/2 cup water(for caramel)

Instructions:
In a saucepan over medium heat cook the sugar with the water until carmelized. Then coat your flan pan with the caramelized sugar. Then in a blender mix the remaining ingrediates all-together. Pour into the flan pan.Put the flan into bon-marie, and cook in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.Remove it from the oven and let cool off, before putting it in the refrigerator.

Thanks to my Boricua websites that have the recipe. :]
