I Know What Chips You Eat *evil, creepy tone*

ha ha ha ha ha ha

alrighty. There is this local sandwich shop here called Jimmy John's, known for great sandwiches and super quick delivery. And i got to say they ARE fast. By the time i am done paying for my meal, my sandwich is DONE! I swear.

Anyways, i go there a lot because its 2 blocks down from my job, it's yummy, and its affordable. There are two different guys that work there. One is a delivery boy (via Bike) who i used to think was super adorable until i realized that he looked just like my ex (but with dreads and without the awesome green eyes my ex had) but nonetheless he reminded me of him. Not that this was a turn off, but it was...let's say weird. But everytime i go he smiles, says hi blah blah blah...i've even bumped into him in the street here in downtown and there's that awkward 2 seconds of eye contact and a cheesy grin. i hate that.

Anyways, the other guy works IN the shop MAKING the sandwiches. I've come to notice that he watches me a lot as i sit there alone eating my sandwich. Now, even though sometimes the choice of sandwich varies, the chips always remain the same. I always get there Jimmy John's Jalapeno chips. (they're baked & super crunchy & yummy)

So i go in today before class to have my italian sub (they call it #5 The Vito) but today i thought id get crazy and i got BBQ chips.

Next thing i know, the sandwich maker guy comes up to me (mind you, its during lunch rush and the place is packed and he should be making subs) with a bag of the jalapeno chips in his hand and nervously asked if i wanted a bag of chips. he never looks down to see that i already have a bag, and im utterly confused so im just like what?? Which made it more awkward. He finally realizes i have some but gives them to me anyway and i say thank you.

it then clicked. This guy totally knows what chips i eat.

do i feel flattered, awkward, weirded out...it most certainly was weird.

as i left i waived and said good bye. an awkward wave. an awkward goodbye.
